Teaching Materials – Geothermal

Geothermal

Geothermal energy taps the heat beneath the Earth’s surface to generate electricity around the clock and to heat and cool buildings efficiently. With advances in drilling and enhanced geothermal systems opening up new regions for development, and with geothermal heat pumps gaining ground in homes and commercial buildings, the need for skilled technicians in drilling, plant operations, and heat pump installation and maintenance is growing.

To help educators prepare students for these careers, CREATE is developing a collection of geothermal energy teaching resources. Check back soon as materials are added to this page.
