Teaching Materials – Nuclear Energy

Nuclear Energy

Nuclear energy supplies nearly a fifth of U.S. electricity and is the nation’s largest source of carbon-free power. With existing plants extending their operating licenses and advanced reactor designs moving toward deployment, the need for skilled technicians in operations, maintenance, radiation protection, and instrumentation and control is growing.

To help educators prepare students for these careers, CREATE is developing a collection of nuclear energy teaching resources. Check back soon as materials are added to this page.
