Join CREATE and presenter Jennifer Langston, Science Faculty, for an informative webinar on building solar, wind and water powered devices using K’Nex Renewable Energy sets.
In this webinar, you will be exposed to a hands-on lesson that will explore the fundamentals of solar energy by constructing and testing solar-powered models using K’NEX Renewable Energy sets. Students will learn how solar panels convert sunlight into electricity and observe how varying light conditions impact the performance of their models. Through building, experimenting, and group discussions, students will develop an understanding of renewable energy’s importance and its real-world applications in creating sustainable solutions for global energy needs. This interactive activity fosters teamwork, critical thinking, and an appreciation for innovative engineering.
This webinar is part of the CREATE Innovation series and runs approximately 30 minutes.
