This webinar provides an overview of the research study conducted at Rutgers investigating the role of community college technician programs in economic development. The research included interviews with NSF ATE project personnel, in-depth case studies of technician programs at 8 colleges across the country, labor-market studies, and regional employer surveys. The presentation shares tools developed for colleges to better understand and articulate their impact and, ultimately, strengthen their technician programs and their roles in regional economic development activities.
