Dear CREATE Energy Faculty,
Have a classroom idea worth sharing? The CREATE team wants to spotlight it in our 2027 Teaching Tricks, Tips, and Ideas for Energy Educators series — selected faculty will receive a $500 stipend and the opportunity to present their work in a spring 2027 webinar.
For the past six years, CREATE’s Call for Innovative Ideas has spotlighted outstanding faculty contributions—from integrating new technologies to engaging students with industry-relevant tools and hands-on learning.

Not sure which category fits? Submit anyway — we’re happy to help you find the right home for it.
To participate, please submit a one-page description of your idea and its impact on your students or program. Submissions are due by Friday, November 13, 2026, to Gabrielle Temple, CREATE Communication Director, at gabrielle.temple@canyons.edu.
A peer review panel will select up to six submissions. Chosen faculty will present a 20-minute webinar in early Spring 2027, and presentations will be archived on the CREATE website for ongoing access.
We look forward to celebrating and sharing your innovative teaching practices with the CREATE community. If you know a colleague doing something unique, please encourage them to apply as well.
Best regards,
The CREATE Team
