In an effort to support solar workforce development, and facilitate solar training programs in technical and community colleges, we’re offering our second round of PV Curriculum Development training for instructors!

Course Description

This 16-hour (2-day) course will provide technical and community college instructors with the background necessary to establish or enhance solar PV design and installation training programs at their organization, with a focus on systems integrated in a residential or small commercial setting. This course will provide curriculum resources, lab design and installation information, and technical details for the formation of courses in solar PV training that meet industry standards.

All MREA materials and curriculum presented in this course have been aligned with the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) PV Associate (PVA) and PV Installation Professional (PVIP) Job Task Analysis (JTA) and are accredited by the Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC). The MREA is a Recognized Provider of the NABCEP PV Associate and Continuing Education.
